Mobile Phones Models (SAMSUNG) Buyer's Guide

What Type of Smartphone
is Best For You?
BLACKBERRY SMARTPHONE: Most BlackBerry models have a physical keyboard on their front, and an increasing number include touchscreens. These devices emphasize messaging, with web browsing and entertainment taking a backseat. That's why BlackBerrys are generally preferred by businesspeople, though plenty of consumers like them, too.

ANDROID SMARTPHONE: Quite a number of companies make Android OS devices, and they come in an array of shapes and sizes, some with keyboards, some without. What they all have in common is an operating system created by Google. This is bundled with a very good web browser as well as a range of other apps. Android OS-based smartphones are targeted at both consumers and the enterprise.

APPLE IPHONE: The iPhone may be the best-known smartphone in the world, even though Apple only offers one model. This has a slim design, a large display, and an easy-to-use software suite. Another bonus is a huge collection of third-party software. This is generally considered a consumer device, though it's frequently seen in the office, too.

ok@gamil.com Microsoft's Windows Mobile was once a major force in business smartphones, but has mostly been pushed out by its rivals. The company is striking back with Windows Phone 7, which will be much more consumer friendly. In the mean time, a number of companies still offer Windows Mobile-based devices in a range of designs.
